Parker and Drew Nagengast, sons of Stephen and Karla Nagengast , received their Eagle Scout awards on December 3, 2017. They are members of Boy Scout Troop 76 in Waverly. Parker, 18, is a Waverly High School senior; Drew, 16, is a Waverly High School junior.
Parker's Eagle scout project was completed for the Camp Creek Threshers. He replaced and/or painted more than forty T - posts that are on either side of each culvert on the grounds, and installed yellow safety chain between them. He also painted some yellow safety lines in areas that had been tripping hazards.
Drew project was also completed for the Camp Creek Threshers. He constructed and painted a platform for the large corn shellers to be attached to during the annual threshing Festival. Post 3 presented the certificates to the parents .

Alex is a member of Boy Scout Troop 76 in Waverly, Nebraska. He received his honor Eagle Scout honor in March 2018.Alex's project was to replace/upgrade wooden street signs on the ground of the Lincoln Regional Center. This project took 3 1/2 months to complete, with over 107 hours in labor. These signs were made entirely by hand. A total of 20 signs and six sign posts were constructed.
