Honor Guard 2026

In February, the Honor Guard assisted the Military Honors teams at 7 funerals. Their civic involvement was limited to three events: Attendance at the Nebraska Veterans Legislative day at the State Capitol, providing a Flag folding and presentation to a family member at a private Celebration of Life service and providing a Color Guard for the annual Nebraska Mothers Celebration at the State Capitol.

In calendar year 2026, the Honor Guard assisted the Military Honors Teams at 13 funerals and was present at 4 civic functions.

The dedication of the Honor Guard in paying tribute to our fallen veterans is truly valued. I sincerely thank all those who continue to offer their support.
